Well, wonderful boyfriend of mine, I don't think you'll be too happy with orientation weekend for the school. Seriously, it's the whole weekend. Friday through Sunday, about 9am to 6pm each day. @.@;; Friday's bring your parent(s) day, and the rest are student days. =| But I'll ask if I can drag you with me for Saturday and/or Sunday. =) Oh, and you might want earplugs for Wednesday, 'cuz I'll be ranting a bit. =)

In other news, I have moneys! =D And Waterworld on Thursday! =D Yay for (hopefully) less crowded water park! Tomorrow I'm seeing a movie with my mom, and getting free dinner out of it, too. And off I go to do laundry now! =D

She's 44cm, and naked!! =) I introduce her as my naked doll. And I've named her Malachai Schrödinger. =) Malachai because Jeff thinks doll's are evil. And Schrödinger because I like Terry Pratchett's description of the Schrödinger Cat in The Unadulterated Cat. (You put it in the box, but when you go back to see if it's dead or alive, it's not there. It's in the closet or something. A Schrödinger Cat is a cat that gets into and out of places and you have no idea how it did it.)

I can't wait to make clothes for her! =D I've started working on a dress-- just need to get the measurements all right.

So! Happy belated birthday to Janice, and happy birthday to Jennifer (tomorrow).

I just saved a ton of money by switching to Geico! =D Actually, I just made about $90 by selling off the first lot of DVDs and games to Entertainmart. =) I'll take another batch up before heading up to Denver tomorrow. Yay! Moneys! =D (Er, what time should I head up?)

Was watching something on the Neanderthals last night. My impression was that they died out because Cro-Magnon figured out how to make pants. =P

Not much going on. Buff's running around whining. She bounced on my legs this morning before plopping down on Ed's butt to sleep. Hm. I should get gas tomorrow. And set it up so I don't have to gas up around the 4th. ...Transformers!! XD Eeee!!!!

Got season passes to Waterworld. Already went twice this weekend. =) While in line for Voyage to the Center of the Earth, two young teens were texting on the cells. One left and came back with their cells in ziplock baggies. What's sad is that they were probably texting each other.

Eee!!! Utopia was fun! =)

....I....think I'm gonna sell off my Jem DVDs. =| As much as I love them, they're worth burning a copy for myself and selling. The first box set is selling for at least $90, the second at about $60. o.o *blink* I'll start burning tomorrow. =D Think I'll go through all my DVDs and see what I want to get rid of.

Well, I've been busy this morning. =) Left Denver about 7:45am, got home about 9am. (They've switched my exit around again...) Cleaned out the snake's cage. She didn't eat the gopher or mouse. =( What's the point of my cats dragging in free snake food if she wants nothing to do with it?? She ate the other mouse they dragged in! =O Anyway. That's all pretty and clean now. Next is bank and insurance. (And finishing laundry.)

Spent all weekend up in Denver. Watched Doctor Who. =) I really liked this episode! And next episode, Jack comes back! Yays!! =D

Been playing Final Fantasy XII. The battle system takes getting used to. (Weird mix between free roaming and turns...) It's almost like all I have to do is make them walk into battle, and they take care of the rest. ...Yeah...I think I'm still a Mana girl. =) I never particularly like the turn based system. The one thing I didn't really like about Chrono Trigger. I love running up to something, hitting it, then running away. You get hit less, for one. In FFXII, if you run into the wrong area, you get gang raped by monsters. =( And if you mess with the glowy orby things, they hunt your ass down. (Either that, or I got turned around and ran back into the one that I pissed off...)

...Yikes. This Warriors for Innocence crap creeps me out. They totally remind me of 'The Cautious Twins' cartoon. (A sort of public service announcement from the 50s claiming that every adult is a pedo out to screw young children. Especially twins.) One of their posts seems to come across as describing a pedo (and rape) as anyone that engages in any sexual activity with a 'child.' Does this mean eighteen and under? Two seventeen-year-olds screw each other on prom night... Poor things have no idea they're victims... (Okay, so I probably read it the wrong way, but the way they worded it made me laugh. It was so vague!)

I knew there was a reason behind my not feeling like checking LJ recently. =)

I wanna see Transformers! They still have that cruddy transforming sound!! XD Eeeee!!!! And Speed Racer. =) (At first, I thought it was gonna be another Love Bug movie because of the punch bug in the shot. Hee.) And then the next scene was all 'Transformers is coooolz!' =D Yay!

Anyway, saw Shrek 3 with Jeff. =) It was okay. Not the best thing ever, but still cute. Hee. Latest episode of Doctor Who was meh. =( I still liked it, but wasn't all that great. I guess I'm suffering Jack deprivation... ^.^;; And if next week's episode is the one I think it is, then I'm not exactly looking forward to it. The summary seemed rather...sappy. Who knows? Maybe I'll end up loving it.

We got Mario Kart DS and Mario 64 DS. =) Mario 64's controls take getting used to. @.@ And I hate that stupid blue shell in Mario Kart. =O Because it seems to hit me, then I hit with the mini lightning, then, to top it all off, I get inked!! @.@ It's happened several times now--all three attacks, one after the other...

Y'know how I've mentioned being carded for buying video games, but only once (out of state) for buying alcohol? Well... Recently, I was carded for a movie. I think it was Grindhouse... (Was it, Snuggles??) I think so. Anyway. It's funny how the moment they see my card, they're all 'Yep! You're definitely old enough!' For those that don't know, people under 21 have licenses that are vertical, and 21 and up are normal looking. According to my mom, it only gets worse. -.-;;

Anyway! Buffy dragged in a mouse and ate it. Soooooo adorable!! XD Watched Ringu with Jeff. Wasn't as good as I remembered it being. Still better than the remake, though!

Got back from paying insurance and stuffs about an hour ago. Paid car insurance, returned library books, went to Ross and lucked out on cheap jeans, and went to World Market. =) I now have a new outfit. And it matches my pink and black boots. And matching panties. =) And unicorn panties! XD Yeee!

Helped my mom weed out part of her yard today. Found a rock under an overgrown bush. We think this is the first time anyone's bothered to clean up the garden area in the front yard... Found a Black Widow on said rock. She's dead. Yeehehehehe!! I killed her with a saw handle.

Watched Lucky Star... Hmm... I won't be continuing that series. They just sat there and talked the entire time. The first ten minutes consisted of three girls sitting around a desk talking about how they ate things. ...Skimmed through it... The only part I particularly liked was the Lucky Channel bit. I was waiting for someone to run out with a samurai sword and start chopping people to bits with gushing blood or shoot everyone. It was like an uber clean version of the chatter table scenes in Death Proof. At least Tarantino has violence! And interesting conversations. When do you eat the strawberry? =O Oh, I save it for last, but it always gets stolen! Or I'm too full! =(

Boyfriend's coming down Wednesday. I guess he's bringing Guitar Hero II with him. I'll show him Frequency. Played it last night. o.O;; Weirder than I remember it being...

Oh, and I hope the dalek hybrid dies a horribly painful death. With jelly. Space jelly.

[Edit:] And I guess Heroes starts up again tomorrow (Monday 23), so the boyfriend should be exceedingly happy. =D

How very strange... LJ seems to have eaten my icons... Well, not really. Just from my posts. o.O;; So I went back and re-icon-ized the past few posts. Me thinks I'll change my default icon to my Cheshire yin-yang. =)

Reworking the story I have for Kaya. Because my twisted little mind wants to see him in a dress more. Heheheh... Like a cute maid outfit or something. So uh... Heh. Getting back to doodling him and the other characters a little more, which'll probably get the boyfriend all angsty and what-not. (Sorries!) =) But I neeeeeeed to draw!! =O Must be my inner fashion designer and give in to the boys in dresses!! (Because that was models look like: boys in dresses!) Hee.

Anime series I'm currently watching:
Murder Princess, Monster Princess, Idolmaster, El Cazador de la Bruja, and I'm downloading Lovely Complex. =) Anything else from the Spring '07 season I should look out for? Dunno if I'll stick with Idolmaster. Won't be watching Darker than Black. That was pretty meh. El Cazador is cute. Murder Princess is fun (but it's OVA). Monster Princess could be better, but I've only seen the first episode (same goes for Idolmaster--it's been a while since I watched a mecha series, so I'm giving it a chance). And the summary for Lovely Complex sounded really cute. =)

I miss Ghost Hunt and Ouran. ;.; And some stupid company bought up Shounen Onmyouji, so I can't download it anymore. (At least not that I could find.) =( And I think Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge is taking it's sweet time getting translated (hate that...). Unless it got bought up, too. *sigh* Oh, well.

And it's done downloading. =D Off to watch!

Dougal...Thermoman... As a cat. Every time he spoke! I couldn't stop picturing him in Father Ted and My Hero. ^.^;; Doesn't help that I've been catching My Hero episodes almost regularly on BBCA. Curse you Ardal O'Hanlon!! Curse you and your voice! But he wasn't as silly, so it threw me off a bit. Sorta like seeing Hugh Laurie in a serious role.

Anyway, on the subject of Doctor Who. Episode seven....42. ^.^;;

Powerpuff Girls... Live action... And I thought Avatar was bad enough. -.-;;; Oh, and let's not forget they're remaking Halloween. Rob Zombie directing. Bleh. What's with people?!

Winter storm warning until evening here. Monument could possibly get really bad, but then again, maybe not. You never really can tell. Stupid Colorado weather (when we have it). Like how it's five degrees cooler on my mom's street compared to the surrounding area. So, yeah. We've been getting snow off and on since yesterday.

Finally got around to loading Illustrator on my computer. (It's on my laptop, but sometimes it's nice to have it on the computer.) So I've been playing around on it. No serious projects yet. Gonna see how Kaya looks in Illust format--even though he has a Photoshop one that needs to be finished. Just need to shade his hair, accessories, and boots. And possibly eyes. Can't remember. Hmm.

Been playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. =) It's fun. Fighting system is much like the DS Mario & Luigi in Time. At first I thought the X-nauts where the evil shroom things... Then I remembered the shroom things had mouths. ^.^;; And you can play Bowser on linear level! XD I hope there's more of those! (Only one so far... Maybe it's every other level?)
